FAQ
-
Do I need title insurance experience to get hired?
For Closer and Junior Closer roles, an existing book of business is what matters most. For Escrow Associate roles, we’re looking for backgrounds in banking, real estate, or mortgage, title-specific experience helps but isn’t required if that background is there.
-
Can I bring my existing client relationships with me as a Closer?
Yes, that’s exactly what we’re looking for. We give Closers room to grow a book from 30 to 50 files, or 50 to 70, rather than starting from zero.
-
Is the initial phone call really confidential?
Yes. If you meet the requirements for an opening, our hiring team reaches out with a fully confidential call to talk through options, even if you’re not fully committed to leaving your current role.
-
What if there’s no opening listed for my city?
Apply anyway. We keep good applications on file under open recruitment and reach out when a seat opens near you.
-
What benefits come with a full-time role?
Health, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, FSA/HSA options, and 12 paid holidays plus PTO, the same package offered across the Knox-Title family of companies.
-
Who do I contact with questions before applying?
Email our HR team at hr@knox-title.com, it’s shared across the Knox-Title family, so you can ask about any of our brands from one place.
Where We’re Located
“I started here in the summer of 1984, and I still do a lot of the hiring calls myself. The people I trust most in this company usually came in already knowing the business, a book of business, a background in banking or real estate, and just needed the room to build on it. That’s who we’re looking for right now.”Andrew Adkins, Senior Regional Manager, American Abstract & Title
